JUST IN! Duke, Oronsaye, Others Listed To Replace Oghiadomhe

Investigations in Abuja showed that those who had been pencilled in for the post included a former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Prince Chibudom Nwuche, a former Head of Service to the Federation, Mr. Steve Oronsaye and a former Governor of Cross River State, Donald Duke.
Others are the Chairman of DAAR Communications, Chief Raymond Dokpesi and the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Power, Dr. Godknows Igali.
It was also gathered although the President was considering picking the next chief of staff from the South-South, he had not ruled out the possibility of choosing a candidate from the South-West.
Barely 24 hours after Chief Mike Oghiadomhe resigned, the race for his successor became intense on Tuesday.
While a Presidency source said that Jonathan had already zeroed in on Oronsaye before Oghiadomhe’s resignation became public knowledge, another source said Jonathan had not made up his mind on his successor.
The source, who insisted that Oronsaye had been picked, said Jonathan was aware that the news of Oghiadomhe’s exit would naturally attract lobbyists, hence the decision to quickly make up his mind on his successor.
However, an aide of the former head of service, who spoke to one of our correspondents on the condition of anonymity, said that he was not aware that Oronsaye, who had travelled out of the country, had been contacted by the Presidency.
Meanwhile another Presidency source said,
“I can tell you that the search for the next chief of staff has not been concluded. Although Oronsaye is being mentioned, there are others, who are still being considered. Such people include Dokpesi, Igali and Nwuche.”
It was gathered that some of Jonathan’s confidants were insisting that the post should remain in Edo State. Dokpesi and Oronsaye are from Edo State.

It was, however, learnt that there were others, who felt that the President should shift his attention to other states in the South-South.

TRAGIC: 17-Yr-Old Serial Rapist And Homosexual Slept With Own Mother And Tortured 4 Children

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, in Ebonyi State, yesterday, arrested a serial rapist and homosexual, Chibuike Maduka, who allegedly raped four children of different parents at Ndibe in Afikpo North Local Government Area of the state.

The man said his mother, Mrs. Idam Augustina Josephine, was responsible for his strange sexual behaviour, as he confessed to have had sexual intercourse with her on several occasions. Now the suspect claims he doesn’t know what usually compel him to have sex with children in the area.
Parading the suspect at the Command headquarters in Abakaliki, the state Commandant of NSCDC, Mrs. Ego Echendu, said,
"The suspect confessed to have been having sexual intercourse with the biological mother and we asked to know when it started and he said last year and also claimed that the mother usually encouraged him to sleep with children of tender ages."
Police want to transfer the case to the Ministry of Women Affairs in the state for them to take it from there.
"He sleeps with his own biological mother who is in our custody now; and again he also told us that he is a homosexual, he sleeps with other male friends. From my analysis, I think he has some sought of brain disorder."
According to the information gathered the man started raping young children in 2008.
My mother used me for ritual
According to the suspect,
"I’m here because of my mother. She used me for ritual. I don’t know what I’m doing. If I see a little child I will rape her; this act started in 2008; it is not my fault but that of my mother. “I have raped my mother and four children. My father is late. I don’t know myself again."
Meanwhile Maduka's mother denies allegations, insisting that he doesn’t know what was happening to his son.

Boy Kills His Beautiful Girlfriend

Few days to February 14, world acclaimed St Valentine’s Day, a 23-year-old girl, simply identified as Chinonso has been allegedly killed by her boyfriend.

According to a reliable source, the girl visited the boyfriend identified as Martins at No 46 Old Market Road on the night of Monday, 10th February with the hope of discussing how to spend the Valentine’s Day.
As her beloved was not in the house, she decided to wait and that when he arrived, she queried him to know where he had been. The source further stated that her boyfriend, who was infuriated, attacked her.
Another account, however, stated that Chinonso had first drawn a kitchen knife to attack Martins but was unlucky as he overpowered her, and stabbed her to death.
It has been gathered that the suspect tried to escape from the scene of the murder, but neighbours stopped him.
Mr. Onyechi Ifediora, a resident of Old Market Road, where the suspect lives, who volunteered to speak to the press told DailyPost that the suspect may not have meant to kill his girlfriend as they both love each other.
One of the resident of Old Market Road described the late Chinonso as a beautiful and humble girl who never deserved to die that way.
